I have always been driven by a fierce curiosity about the world, a deep love of learning, and a desire to help others. These motivations, paired with my graphic design and tech skills, led me to the field of Instructional Design and eLearning development after a successful career in education. I bring my knowledge of sound curriculum design, keen attention to detail, and high level of organizational skill into the world of Learning & Development. 

One of my talents is my ability to take complex material from different sources and perspectives and make it easy for learners to understand. I know how to use and analyze data to inform learning objectives and instructional design. I am collaborative in my approach to learning, and I believe the best work is built on good relationships and communication with all stakeholders. I thrive in a team of professionals working to achieve the best results for all learners. I am endlessly creative and always seeking to learn new approaches and tools, which has served me well as I have upskilled and learned the principles of adult learning, instructional design, and eLearning authoring tools. 

In the past year I have done volunteer and contract work in instructional design to gain experience developing learning solutions that close knowledge and skill gaps and result in performance changes. I am passionate about effective instructional design and I look forward to using my skills and talents to help more businesses and organizations thrive.

When I'm not working, I am most often spending time with my husband and children, adventuring outdoors, exploring new places, or reading a good book.
